The Perfect Gift Didn’t Exist. So I Made It.

The Heart of Our Home

Our anniversary was approaching, and I felt stuck. I didn’t want to buy my wife another “thing.” I wanted to give her something deeper—a way to hold onto the joy that fills our home, thanks to our daughter Mia and our whirlwind of a Border Collie, Bunny.

Bunny isn’t just a pet—she’s the heart of our family. My camera roll was overflowing with her story: the day we brought her home, her clumsy puppy stage, mountain hikes, quiet moments curled at our feet. These were more than photos and videos. They were our memories.

A Memory You Can't Frame

But how could I turn them into a gift? A framed picture felt too still. A playlist felt too impersonal. Nothing captured the life and motion inside those moments.

Then I discovered the idea of a video book. It was close, but still not quite right. The versions I found felt generic, like cold tech gadgets. I wanted the book itself to feel like part of the story—unique, personal, and alive.

From a Vision to Happy Tears

So I built it.

I designed custom covers featuring our favorite photos of Bunny. I found a factory that believed in the vision and could bring it to life. I carefully selected every clip and picture, curating Bunny’s story from her first day with us to our latest adventures. Every detail carried my love for my family.

When I finally gave it to my wife, she opened the cover—and Bunny’s story came alive. She didn’t just watch a video. She relived our happiest moments. I’ll never forget the tears in her eyes or the smile that stayed long after.
